So, our Beauty Experts have some quick and useful remedies to resolve the problem of ingrown hair! If you’re not already familiar with ingrown hair, it’s basically hair that grew, but curled in and went back into your skin instead of growing out! And just imagine, if hair growing out wasn’t already a hassle, ”in grown hair” has proven to a bigger one.

Since we have to deal with this issue at hand, we have some great advice for you! There’s really no other way of dealing with ingrown hair, than doing it at home, and this is how you can treat them.

OATMEAL, LEMON JUICE AND YOGURT

All you need is around 3 tsp of oatmeal, 1-2 tsp of lemon juice and 4-5 tsp of yogurt. Just mix them together and apply them to the affected area. Scrub the area with the mix, very gently. Then leave it aside for a while to dry and once it is fully dry, wash off with lukewarm water. Do this 2-3 times a week to get the best results! (tip: you can use this as a great acne-fighting mask too!)

APPLE CIDER + SUGAR + HONEY + CORNSTARCH & LEMON

For this recipe you need to take about 5 tbsp of cornstarch, 4 tbsp of granulated sugar and about 1 tbsp of lemon juice. Mix these up and add 1 tbsp honey to this mixture. Warm it up in a Pyrex bowl in the microwave and add 1 tsp apple cider vinegar to it. Combine it well and let it rest for 2 minutes. Then take a cotton ball or swab and dunk into the mix. Then, apply it to the affected area and let sit for 15-30 minutes. Wash off with warm water and repeat this every week!
