Try This Genius Way To Get Rid of Chapped Lips!

Coconut and Honey Lip scrub

This recipe is super simple and has easily available ingredients. This one only requires coconut oil, honey, sugar, and some water. All you have to do is mix up these ingredients in a small container and you’ll have the best lip scrub ready in less than five minutes.

 

 

Cinnamon Lip Scrub

Cinnamon is not only a vital ingredient in french toast or apple pie, but it’s also used in lip scrub recipes. Moreover, what a lot of people don’t know is that cinnamon also has certain special properties which make the lips not only soft, but also plump. And, this way you can achieve those pouty lips, using natural ingredients.

Simply add 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 tablespoon unrefined coconut oil, 1 tablespoon raw honey and 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder. Rub this mixture in circular motion on your lips, and then rinse with lukewarm water.  

 

 

 

 

Chocolate lip scrub

To make this lip scrub, you need to mix white granulated sugar, 1 tablespoon cocoa powder, 2 teaspoons olive oil, 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extract and a drizzle of honey. If the mixture is too thin, add additional sugar; if too it’s thick, then add additional olive oil and honey. Furthermore, you can use this lip scrub more than one time as well, and for that you should store it in a sealed container in the refrigerator. This way it can be used for at least for 2-3 weeks.

To apply, swab the lips with a thick blob of this chocolate scrub and leave it on for up to 5 minutes. Then, wash off thoroughly with warm water and apply a light coating of lip balm or petroleum jelly to seal in the moisture.

 

 

Mint Lip Scrub

Mix sugar, honey, olive oil and a drop of peppermint together in a small bowl, until they resemble a coarse paste. For application, use a warm water cloth over the lips for few minutes to soften them up. Then, slather the lips with this minty scrub and leave it on for 5 minutes. Lastly, wash off the mixture using a warm washcloth over the lips to soften them up. Lastly, do store it in a glass jar or lid container, so that you can reuse it in future.
